From the design of our house to closing day, and even under our remodel of our basement, you were always there to help us. We want to thank you for your dedication and attention to detail. You were always easily accessible to answer questions and make sure things went smoothly. We appreciate your hard work in allowing us to create our first home with unique features, even with our budget. You were always willing to help us save money where possible, but still get what we wanted.

Thank you for building such an incredible "house" and helping us turn it into a warm and inviting "home" It's refreshing to find a builder who truly cares about the people as much as they care about the end product. The Uber-Custom House!

Shon and Dave Meere of Shonave Custom Homes built our 'from scratch' house November 2005 through April 2006. We cannot say enough good things about them! As a company and as a team they proved to be honest, flexible, responsive, hard working, and talented builders.

Coming into a project after the design aspect was already completed was not an easy task. We had completed the architectural design of the home and were in search of a builder that shared our vision of the how the finished product should look as well as understanding and LISTENING to our concerns. Every single conversation we had with Shon ended with her saying "I just want you to be happy" - and she was totally sincere in that sentiment.

Communications were a breeze - we must have emailed each other 10-20 times a day sometimes! Shon was always accessible 100% throughout the entire building process. If anything wasn't done exactly the way we envisioned it to be - Shon and Dave made SURE it was taken care of, personally. And they followed up on everything as well.

I don't think I can recall anything negative about our home building process other than the fact that we wished we had found Shonave FIRST in our search for a builder. I'll bet you dollars to donuts that you won't find another custom home builder that passes along any rebates and credits received during the construction process along to the home owner - Shonave does!

We definitely feel that if we were to build another custom home in the Cincinnati area, we would build with Shonave again, no questions.

What started off as a business relationship has also turned into a friendship. They are some of the most down-to-earth and hardworking people you will ever meet, and it shows in every aspect of their successful business and beautiful family. We are blessed and fortunate to have met them in this lifetime.

Hi Shon and Dave!

After putting our little boy to bed last night, I walked to the staircase leading down to the Great room. As I descended the stairs, I couldn't help admiring the celestial view of the stars and moon winking at me through the wall of windows in the Great room. The moonlight lit the room with a soft glow. It was so inviting and peaceful I had to linger and enjoy the moment. It made me think how lucky we were to have found Shonave Custom Homes and our house. So I'm writing to thank you! I want to thank you for building a home so unique I'll never walk into another one just like it! I want to thank you for building a home so structurally sound you can barley "hear a sound" as you walk across the hardwood floors or down the staircase. I want to thank you for the hidden details, such as the all-wood windows, the fuel-efficient furnace, the insulated garage door, the well-insulated walls, and the upgraded Kitchen appliances. I want to thank you for the beautiful architectural elements that make our home a showplace both inside and out...the wall of Palladian windows, the arched passageways, the brickwork and keystones. I also want to thank you for your easy accessibility. If I ever had a question, Shon was always available on her cell phone. If I had to leave a message, Shon returned my call within an hour. Your personalized service and commitment was the best I've ever experienced. I also want to thank you for keeping up with the most advanced building methods. Dave does a wonderful job researching building techniques and finding the best way to do something, such as using the Form-a-Drain footer and the Silent Floor construction. As you can see, we love our house and everything about it! You truly are a custom home builder with an eye for detail. When we build our next home, it will be a Shonave Custom Home!

We've been in our home almost 2 years now and we continue to enjoy every large and small detail that you put into it! The design has been perfect for a family with kids--the kids' rooms on one side of the home and our master on the other side. The lower level has worked great for the kids who use it as their everyday recreational room while we can spend quite time on the main level. The layout is smooth and free-flowing and the view from the breakfast area and deck is breathtaking!
